The Ultimate Indoor Shooting Experience

The training philosophy of Reality based training Firearms and Tactics is different than most training originations and facilities. We are using a philosophy based on the research of Dustin Salomon. He is a multi-book author who wrote Building Shooters. The old school method of training for 8 hours a day for 1,2, o r3 days straight is not the most optimum training design, especially for new shooters. As a student you are learning so much new material in a short period of time that the ability of the brain to store all that information in the long-term memory is exceptionally difficult. Without it being stored in the long-term memory the ability to recall the information in a stressful situation is nearly impossible.

We provide 8 hours of training over multiple days. You are given information and videos to review to prepare for the class and front load some of the information. Students will then attend the set hours of the classroom normal over a couple of days. Again, having time to retain the information into long term memory to "marinate" and finally move onto the live fire range.

Once all the classes are completed a structured practice regime is given to the student for continued "homework". By following this teaching method, the desired affect is greater long-term retention and the ability under stress to use what was learned.
